Persian
Rug Gallery was established in Nashville, Tennessee in 1994 by Amir
Esfandyari, the 5th generation of Esfandyaris who have devoted their
lives to the rug business.
The
Esfandyair family were producers of rugs in Heriz, Bakhshayesh, Ahar,
Sharabian, and Tabriz regions of Azarbaijan in Iran. They
controlled the quality by furnishing the weavers with the finest
vegetable dyes and local wool, but left the creativity to weavers to
create some of the most beautiful rugs. So, when it comes to
rugs, we have centuries of combined experience to advise you on your
next purchase of floor art.
Persian
Rug Gallery specializes in the finest Oriental carpets, rare
antiques, and vintage art rugs. We also carry a large
selection of over size and palace rugs and antique tribal and
village rugs. Additionally, The Persian Rug Gallery carries
rugs from Caucasus, Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, and China.
Also,
in our fine art gallery, you will find originals from established
local artists Sharon Rusch Shauer, Suzanne James, Lee Hamblin,
Debbie Wingo, Ronald G. Baldwin, James Evinczik, and Murat Khaboulov,
with many more to come...
So,
come to the Persian Rug Gallery and take home a long awaited dream.
Perhaps it's the wavy floral with no center medallion that you are
looking for, or that masculine geometric with bold colors. Or
maybe an abstract design or an art deco, a hunt scene or a Persian
garden design. Or, quite possibly, you'll just "know it when
you see it." Well... if it's a handmade Oriental rug
you've been looking for, you have the one for you. So,
email us, or come to
The Persian Rug Gallery and take home a long awaited dream.
